Assessor The Assessor has a responsibility to insure that all assessments are properly and uniformly made and that the Grand List, when completed, is a true and accurate report of all taxable and exempt property.       Phone: (203) 720-7016
   
Borough Clerk The Borough Clerk and her staff provide direct support to the Mayor and Burgesses. The Borough Clerk's office keeps and maintains the records of the Borough, coordinates and schedules all board meetings and, schedules the various Commission meetings.  Phone: (203) 720-7008
   
Building Inspector The Building Inspector ensures the health and welfare of the residents of the Borough of Naugatuck by regulating the construction, use and occupancy of buildings and other alterations through the application of the State of Connecticut building codes.  Phone (203) 720-7035

Engineering/Water Pollution control The Engineering Department consists of the Borough Engineer, the Assistant Borough Engineer/Chief of Surveys, Survey Party Chief, GIS Technician and Construction Inspector. The Department is responsible for maintaining, updating and providing mapping of street R-O-W, sanitary sewers, and drainage facilities.  Phone: (203) 720-7006
   
Fire Department The Borough of Naugatuck Fire Department (NFD) responds to fires, motor vehicle accidents, chemical and oil spills, rescue calls and weather-related emergencies. The NFD also assists other towns and agencies as requested.  Phone:(203) 720-7082

Parks & Recreation The Parks & Recreation Department is responsible for maintaining recreational areas throughout the Borough of Naugatuck. In addition, park employees prepare fields for sports activities, carry out improvements on properties and set up facilities for large town events.  Phone: (203) 720-7043

Senior Center The Naugatuck Senior Center is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for adults fifty years of age and older. Offering a variety of programs in creative arts, educational classes, social service information, recreational activities, and community volunteer service. Town Clerk The Town Clerk's office receives thousands of documents and maps for record and processes them into Naugatuck's library of land records. The office also totals local real estate conveyance taxes and collects recording fees.  Phone: (203) 720-7055
   
Visiting Nurse Association Established in the 1920s under the auspices of the Naugatuck Red Cross, the Visiting Nurses Association continually seeks to serve the residents of the Borough with up-to-date equipment and caregiver skills through workshops, symposiums and in-service education programs.  Phone: (203) 720-7098
