NATURE PROGRAM -ANIMAL CLASSIFICATION

         Learn about 5 different animal classifications, one each week!!

      Fridays  4-5:30 pm   ages: 5-10 yrs.          Fee: $80 per 5 week session 

       Dates:  2/13, 2/27, 3/6, 3/13, 3/20         Classes taught by Vicki Masterson

COOKING/CRAFTS CLASSES

*CHILD MAY REGISTER BY SESSION OR BY CLASS AS DESIRED.

CLASS 1 - INTERMEDIATE COOKING CLASS  (AGES 9 & UP) FEE $14 per class CLASS 1 - MONDAYS - 4-5:30 P.M.   DATES: Session 1: 3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23

                                                                        Session 2: 3/30, 4/6, 4/20, 4/27

CLASS 2 – TUESDAYS - 4-5:30 P.M.  DATES: Session 1: 3/3, 3/17, 3/24, 3/31 

                                                                        Session 2: 4/7, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5      

            This Class Will Prepare Complete Meals Weekly, Using All Food Groups.

CLASS 3, 4, & 5 - COOKING FOR 3-5 YR. OLDS   FEE $11 per class

CLASS 3 - MONDAYS - 1-2 P.M.         DATES: Session 1: 3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23

                                                                         Session 2: 3/30, 4/6, 4/20, 4/27

CLASS 4 - TUESDAYS – 10-11 A.M.

CLASS 5 - TUESDAYS - 1-2 P.M.        DATES: Session 1: 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, 3/24 

                                                                         Session 2: 3/31, 4/7, 4/21, 4/28 

Children Will Prepare Snacks And Treats. They Will Measure, Mix And Create Their Own Goodies. This Class Is A Lot Of Fun And Quite Messy, Too!! Parents Are Always Welcome!!

CLASS 6 & 7- ARTS AND CRAFTS FOR 3-5 YR. OLDS   FEE $7 per class

CLASS 6 - WEDNESDAYS – 10-11 A.M.   

CLASS 7 - WEDNESDAYS - 1-2 P.M.   DATES: Session 1: 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, 3/25

                                                                          Session 2: 4/1, 4/8, 4/22, 4/29

Young Children Love Painting, Gluing And Creating! We Will Make A Variety Of Crafts. We Will Count, Identify And Mix Colors And Shapes, And Work With Scissors. Parents Are Always Welcome!!

CLASS 8 - ARTS AND CRAFTS FOR 5-10 YR. OLDS   FEE $7 per class

CLASS 8 - WEDNESDAYS - 4-5 P.M.   DATES: Session 1: 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, 3/25

                                                                          Session 2: 4/1, 4/8, 4/22, 4/29

 Children Will Make Crafts Using Different Craft Medium. Examples Include Clay, Paper Mache, Foam, Paint, Paper, Etc.

CLASS 9 - BEGINNING COOKING CLASS   FEE  $12 per class (AGES 5-8)

CLASS 9 - THURSDAYS - 4-5 P.M.       DATES: Session 1: 3/5, 3/12, 3/19, 3/26

                                                                           Session 2: 4/2, 4/9, 4/23, 4/30

Children Will Learn Skills Such As Measuring, Cutting, Mixing, Etc. While Preparing Snacks, Desserts, Appetizers.

 **Classes Will Be Canceled And Rescheduled In Event Of Inclement Weather, School Cancellations, Weather Delays/Early Dismissal.

There Are No Classes April 10-17, 2009 Due To Spring Break. Classes Are Held At The Park & Recreation Dept. at 258 Rubber Ave.,  Naugatuck.

Kicking with Toddlers

 

Kicking with Toddlers is a ten week program designed to introduce toddlers to the martial arts.

This program consists of an introduction to the students, 8 class lessons and a recognition of their new skills at the end of the session.  This class will be similar to a graduation and require a fee.

The children will be introduced to the following terms:

Focus, Teamwork, Control, Balance, Memory, Discipline, Fitness and

Coordination.

 

Program fee: $60.00.

All checks should be made payable to Naugatuck Park and Rec.

 

Classes begin Wednesday March 25, 2009 and will be held at USA Martial Arts in Crosspointe Plaza.

 

Class time: 12:15-12:45 p.m. Children should arrive approximately 15 minutes prior to class to register.

 

Class Size is limited.
