WINTER CRAFT & COOKING PROGRAM

***Classes Begin February 8, 2010***
*Class 1 - Cooking for 3-5 Yr. Olds -Tuesdays 10-11am Fee: $11 Per Class
Dates: 2/9, 2/23, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23
**Children will prepare snacks and treats. They will measure, mix and create their own
goodies. This class is a lot of fun and quite messy, too!! Parents are always welcome!!
*Class 2 - Intermediate Cooking Class (Ages 9 & Up) Fee: $14 Per Class
Mondays 4-5:30 Pm Dates: 2/8, 2/22, 3/1, 3/8, 3/15, 3/22
*Class 3- Intermediate Cooking Class (Ages 9 & Up) Fee: $14 Per Class
Tuesdays 4-5:30 Pm Dates: 2/12(Fri.), 2/23, 3/2, 3/16, 3/23
**This class will prepare complete meals weekly, using all food groups. We practice
cutting, measuring and other food preparation/cooking skills.
*Class 4 - Arts and Crafts for 5-10 Yr. Olds Fee: $7 Per Class
Wednesdays – 4:15-5:15 Pm Dates: 2/10, 2/24, 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, 3/24
**Children will make crafts using different craft medium. Examples include clay,
paper maché, foam, paint, paper, etc. We also paint and discuss styles of art in
each class.

*Class 5 - Beginning Cooking Class (Ages 5-8) Fee: $12 Per Class
Thursdays – 4:15-5:15 Pm Dates: 2/11, 2/25, 3/4, 3/11, 3/18, 3/25
**Children will learn skills such as measuring, cutting, mixing, etc. while preparing
snacks, desserts, and appetizers.

**Classes will be held at the Park & Recreation Dept., 258 Rubber Ave.
**There will be no classes February 15-19, 2010 during school vacation.
**Please register in advance by coming down or calling our office at

**Classes will be canceled and rescheduled in event of inclement weather, school
cancellations, delays or early dismissal due to weather.
**Payment for classes must be made before the first class.
