The Borough of Naugatuck will host all Land Use board meetings remotely and in person until further notice. Public attendance is allowed in Town Hall.

Public Comment or Testimony can be accepted via email in written form at ecarter@naugatuck-ct.gov prior to a meeting.

Members of the public may also testify by video during these meetings. Name and address will be required to comment.

Please be advised that the Zoning Commission Meeting scheduled on Thursday September 7, 2023 at 6:00 P.M. will be held in person for the Zoning Commission Members and Applicants in the Hall of Burgesses 4th Floor Town Hall 229 Church St. The meeting will be held virtually via ZOOM for members of the Public. Public may attend.

MEETING AGENDA

 

1.   Call to order, pledge of allegiance and attendance will be taken. After determination of a quorum, Alternates will be designated as voting members, if necessary.

 

2.    Approval of the August 16, 2023 Meeting Minutes and the secretary will sign previously approved minutes.

 

PUBLIC HEARINGS

 

Cont’d PUBLIC HEARING: 6:05 P.M. – for the proposed Gas Station and Convenience Store for the property located at 248 South main Street, Applicant; Arkdya, LLC.

Public hearing opens 8/16/23 must close by 9/20/23 unless an extension is requested by applicant.

 

Cont’d PUBLIC HEARING: 6:10 P.M. – for a proposed Solar Panel Array for the property located at 211 Spring St., Applicant; Borough of Naugatuck.

Public hearing opens 8/16/23 No end date as a Borough of Naugatuck Application.

  1. Commission discussion/decision for a proposed Special Permit Application for a Gas Station and Convenience Store for the property located at 248 South main St., Applicant: Arkyda, LLC.

     

  2. Commission discussion/decision for the Architectural Review for the proposed Gas Station and Store located at 248 South Main St., Applicant; Arkyda, LLC

     

  3. Commission discussion/decision for the proposed Special Permit Application for a Solar Panel Array for the property located at 211 Spring St., Applicant: Borough of Naugatuck.

 

4.     NEW BUSINESS:

 

  1. Commission discussion/decision for the final architectural review of the building and site plan modification to move the refuse dumpster away from neighboring building for the property located at 112 Bridge St., Applicant; Berlin RE Development, LLC.

     

  2. Commission discussion/decision for a site plan modification for a change from 2 offices to 2 apartments for the property located at 5 Meadow St., Applicant; Marchetti Naugatuck Family Partnership, LLC.
