2/15/2011 - Parking Ban Revoked
The indefinite parking ban instituted on January 28, 2011, is being revoked effective of today, February 15, 2011, beginning at 4:00 PM. Several consecutive days without Winter storms combined with warming temperatures have allowed the Department of Public Works the opportunity to widen numerous, narrow streets and remove snow from many intersections. Further implementation of the parking ban shall be evaluated on a storm-by-storm basis. Motor vehicle operators and pedestrians are still advised to exercise a heightened sense of awareness while traveling on Borough streets as significant snow and ice accumulation remains. We would like to thank all Borough residents for their cooperation during the duration the parking ban was in effect.
