"They Called Me Lizzy - from Slavery to the White House" High Tea

Actress Stephanie Jackson tells the true life story of Elizabeth Keckly; her rise from slavery to entrepreneurial freedom, scandal, decline. Best known as dressmaker to Mary Todd Lincoln, she authored the book "Behind the Scenes, 30 years a Slave and Four Years in the White House". This is a one hour presentation with many twists and burns, bravery and remarkable resilience. Living history at it's best!
