Copes Waste System takes over curbside collection of trash and recycling July 1, 2014

Copes Waste Systems, based in Watertown, is taking over curbside collection of trash and recycling on July 1, 2014. Naugatuck residents with questions or problems regarding their trash or recycling, missed collections, half emptied carts, and other similar questions can call Copes directly at 1-877-274-1444 or email to info@copeswaste.com . Naugatuck Public Works at 203-720-7071 will continue to answer general trash and recycling questions and will continue to run the Rubber Ave. Recycling Center. Copes will be collecting Naugatuck routes using the same regulations and rules that have been in place since Automated Collections began. Residents are reminded to always have their containers curbside the night before their collection, lid arrows facing the street, keeping 3 feet between the carts, and away from cars, telephone poles, etc.
