Gunntown Passive Park and Nature Preserve

Through this unique community collaboration, Connecticut towns, parks, preserves, land trusts, and other landowners are able to showcase their trails, staff, volunteers, and hard work to thousands of people while promoting healthy, outdoor recreation.”

There is an easy,.5 mile walk around Gunntown meadow. Beth Lancaster, a member of the Gunntown Group, is an educator at NHS, a leader on their Monarch Butterfly/Milkweed research group, and can explain these connections with those who pass by
