‘Moon Shadow Walk & Talk’

Saturday February 11th at 7 P.M.
(Weather permitting)
For ages 8 and up.

There will be a Moon Shadow Walk & Talk at the Gunntown Passive Park & Nature Preserve. The relationships between the moon and wildlife will be discussed. The Native Americans called the February moon the Snow Moon and the Hunger Moon, as it was difficult procuring food.

To sign up for this event please call the Public Works Office at 203-720-7071. Children must be at least 8 years old, accompanied by an adult, and willing to be silent for stretches of time.
Registration is limited.
Please bring a flash light and a blanket. Wear extra warm clothing. Snow or water tight boots are recommended.
