Recycling Center News

 

The Recycling Center is open year round Thursday & Saturday 8 AM to 2 PM. Summer hours are Tuesday's 11am-7pm April -September. Winter bulk trash will also be open the 1st & 3rd Saturday for the months of January-March.

New Location : 34 Andrew Ave. (across from Peter J. Foley Little League)

 

All the curbside recyclables listed below are accepted at the Center plus mattresses, motor oil, oil filters, antifreeze, car batteries, propane tanks, brush & branches, leaves & grass in paper bags, electronics including TV’s, computers, stereos, & fax machines,  fluorescent bulbs, rechargeable batteries, cell phones, videos, computer games, cooking grease, phone books & used clothing. No charge for all recyclables listed above.

 

Grass clippings, leaves, and pine needles cannot be added to the regular trash they must be recycled. Bring to the Center in 30 gallon paper bags or use special curbside collections, 3 weeks in the fall and 1 week in the spring. No charge.

 

Brush and branches are accepted at the Recycling Center in limited amounts – residents should make alternative arrangements for large trees or lot clearing materials. Only small pieces of branches and brush are accepted with trash. No charge.

 Mattresses, Propane Tanks & Electronics are NO charge for drop-off at the Transfer Station
